What is InstallIQ Updater and How to Change User Preferences or Remove InstallIQ Updater

YOU DO NOT NEED ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE TO DO THIS
Software(s) that you download from internet is often linked with InstallIQ Updater (e.g. Nuance PDF tool is use to open incompatibility files in Windows operating system ). However, InstallIQ Updater can be very annoying when it pops up on your desktop to check for updates. You need to check what software is linked to InstallIQ  Updater before you delete this utility from your system. 

How to Open InstallIQ Updater
  1. Click on Start Button.
  2. Click on All Programs.
  3. Click on InstallIQ Updater to to see what software uses InstallIQ Updater.

 You will see " uninstall column", which removes software/s that you no longer use.

How to Open User Preferences

  1. Click on User Preferences to control InstallIQ updates
  2. Check box “Do not automatically check for updates”
  3. UNCHECK BOX marked “Send anonymous usage statistics to W3i on InstallIQ software to help improve user experiences.”

If you do not need or want InstallIQ Updater, you can simply:

Go to Start > All Programs> Uninstall InstallIQ Updater. This will properly remove InstallIQ Updater from your operating system.

We may show you one or more partner software offers. You are not required to accept a software offer to receive your download. We may also offer to: (i) change your browser’s homepage; (ii) change your default search provider; and (iii) install icons on your computer’s desktop, including third-party offers. Software we own and our partner’s software may include advertisements within the application.
